Suzette Zawisza
At age 43 I was diagnosed with stage 3 HER 2+ breast cancer. As most of you know as soon as I began my journey, I became involved with The Victory Center! TVC is a nonprofit organization that provides free, non medical support services for cancer patients, survivors and their families. I specifically had first hand experience with the wig bank, massage therapy, reiki and healing touch. The girls and I, with your support, raised $2000 for three years in a row by selling T-shirts, sweatshirts and bracelets #suzettestrong. There have been two separate occasions where I have been ready to participate in OVER THE EDGE but was not medically cleared to do so with the surgeries & complications. I am happy to say that this year marks two years surgery free. I continue with complications stemming from lymphedema and nerve pain, but despite this I am ready and able to participate! In order to rappell I need to raise $1000 (which will go directly to The Victory Center). Thank you for sending me OVER THE EDGE!! ππππ
I will be rappelling 16 stories on Thursday, September 3, 2026 or Friday, September 4, 2026 to raise funds and awareness for The Victory Center!
Please consider making a donation to help fund FREE programs and services for newly diagnosed cancer patients, cancer survivors and their caregivers within our community.
