I will be rappelling 16 stories on Friday, August 27 to raise funds and awareness for The Victory Center!  Please consider making a donation to help fund FREE support programs and services for newly diagnosed cancer patients, cancer survivors and their caregivers. All funds raised will stay in our community.

Hey all! I figured I would introduce myself to everyone! Hi, I’m Paige, I’m 29 turning 30 on September, 26th. I have a fiancée Alex Jarvis and he and I have two beautiful children Xavier (7) and Amalia (5). I am a Northwood Highschool Graduate of 2009, and before getting sick I was working as cosmetologist at Amoura Salon in Oregon. About two years ago Alex and I bought a beautiful home in lake township, talk about moving in to rival territory, as my dad would say, and we loveee it here. January 6th, 2021, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer that spread to my liver and lungs. On January 8th, my doctors decided it was best for me to undergo surgery for an ostomy bag, since the tumor in my colon was essentially blocking stool from passing, being the culprit of the pain I was experiencing and reasoning behind me going into the ER. Feb 2nd we started the Chemo process of ridding this cancer from inside my body. ?I have had 13 treatments over the past 26 weeks, and am lucky enough to just finally start getting pretty bad side effects. I will start targeted radiation, if I am a candidate, in Septtember, because of my side effects getting worse. Hoping this treatment works so we can move forward with the rest of plans to make me cancer free!  I’m so honored of being nominated and pick by Mercy for the opportunity to go Over The Edge, and I can’t thank everyone enough for all of the support I have gotten!
