i will be rappelling down a 16 story building during  the Over the Edge event to raise donations to support the Victory Center in Toledo, Ohio. I am participating to support my sister, Pam ( an ovarian cancer survivor)  and myself ( a breast cancer survivor).   Pam and other Ohio patients/ caregivers are lucky to have such an amazing facility, classes and support groups.   I wish services like these were offered in Pennsylvania when I was fighting my own battle with cancer.

Over the Edge is a fundraiser for the Victory Center in Toledo, Ohio (which my sister has used throughout her cancer journey).  The Victory Center is an amazing  (and FREE) local support service for any and all cancer fighters and survivors in the area.  My sister has participated in almost all of the classes and support groups offered, including step classes, yoga, massages, facials, reflexology and even art/card making classes, plus so much more.  To ensure that this remains FREE, they do a number of fundraisers throughout the year, with this one being one of the biggest events.

Pam, Dave (her husband) and myself are all going to participate in the Over the Edge event just after Labor Day.  By that I mean we are going to repel down a 16 story sky scraper in downtown Toledo!  We each need to raise/ donate $1000 to participate.  So we are going to fund raise for a few weeks and then cover whatever shortfall ourselves.  I will be fundraising until July 21, 2025.

Please don’t feel pressure to participate.  However, if you do wish to donate you may use the link below:

We have joined a Team called Teal Team One.  When donating please use the tab that has my name or states “individual” as your donation will go towards my fund raising goal.
