I am rappelling 16 stories on Friday, September 6, 2024 to celebrate the end of my wife's cancer treatment.

Our journey started unexpectedly when Amy found a lump in her breast in January.  That was quickly followed by a mammogram, ultrasound, and biopsy.  The phone call came a week later with the news: breast cancer.  This was a complete shock--she had no genetic markers or family history. Then came surgery in the winter, chemo in the spring, and radiation this summer.

Amy has been brave and strong throughout the entire process.  No matter how she was feeling, she always approached things with a positive outlook.  In several years when our young girls look back at this season of life with greater understanding, they will be proud of how she handled everything.

As a family we appreciated everyone that reached out, prayed, babysat, or sent meals.  We value the work that The Victory Center does in our community and are grateful to support them in this way.  Our family wants to encourage others to advocate for themselves and prioritize their health!

Please consider making a donation to help fund FREE programs and services for newly diagnosed cancer patients, cancer survivors and their caregivers.

100% of funds raised will stay in our community.
