Angie Fisher

On May 1, 2024, I received a diagnosis that changed my life. It was one I watched my grandma fight, and it put my family in an eerily similar situation my husband went through as a child. The resulting treatment has left me with scars that will forever remind me of my fight. It's been a struggle, but I'm on the other side and making strides. The Victory Center has been integral in my recovery. Without them, I don't think I would have found the kind of peace and acceptance of my diagnosis and treatment I have. Their programs have helped me to reconnect with myself, find my balance, and have provided support and encouragement.
I will be rappelling 16 stories on Friday, September 5 or Saturday, September 6, 2025, to raise funds and awareness for The Victory Center!
I know this sounds crazy to some of you because I have the ground separation issues I do - but this needs to be done. Some things need to be faced head on. Nothing scares me as much as a cancer diagnosis, and I want to help support the place that supported, and continues to support, me through it all!
Please consider making a donation to help fund FREE programs and services for newly diagnosed cancer patients, cancer survivors and their caregivers.
100% of funds raised will stay in our community.
